	How do we express love for the ground we live on? How do we recognize the living body of nature, acknowledge its untamed value, and give it agency within our human societies? We propose to shift the narrative of personification. Instead of talking, thinking, and interacting with an Earth-mother, we prefer the idea of an Earth-lover. A love entity that gives and cares as much as it wants to be loved and cared for. A passionate love story between humans and non-human entities such as fjords, mountains, seas, and all the characters that compose them. Our wild environment is unique and urgently needs consideration as it is, in its entirety. However, our human language is limited and it is difficult to refer to entire ecosystems. We find that embodying landscapes in objects, giving them a body and creating body-to-body interaction with our Earth-lover might ease the shift in thinking.With Antonía Berg we introduce Fró(u)n, the first collection of pleasure objects made with Icelandic clay.&#38;nbsp;

	A collection of three vases, at first quite traditional but there is a hick. The objects emit a sound, a familiar “click” universally attributed to a computer mouse. A clue of their origin.&#38;nbsp; With a closer look the vases bug. Some parts are thoroughly sculpted, others pixelated or left to their original form of mesh. Click’Work question the definition of hand work within the digital era. Even if algorithms and computer controlled machines are able to make form it is still human work that feeds the softwares, 3D printers and A.I. The illusion of the autonomous machine is possible through invisible digital labour: hands working often unpaid, hidden behind a click’.

	Carnal Dinner is a serie of events where guests are invited to try food utensils that Elín Margot designed to highlight the sensual pleasure of eating. This edition was made in collaboration with chef Pola Sutryk.
Having sex and having food are often viewed as similar experiences. They both implicate the body, provoking uncontrollable responses to stimulation and they both have the ability to generate pleasure. Yet social and cultural norms turn around the idea of controlling bodies by restraining and hiding biological processes such as arousal or even hunger: the shame we feel when our stomachs are growling. 
Those restrictions create taboos, topics that can never be seen nor discussed such as sexuality. In recent years, with the rise of body and sex positive movements, a dialogue was opened and created a burst in the creation of sex toys dedicated to various pleasures. What if the same happened at our dinner table?
Carnal Appetite is a collection of conceptual food utensils designed to highlight the sensual pleasure of eating. With an emphasis on the often condemned actions of licking, slurping and sucking. It is an exploration of an alternative ideology for our society and an invitation to discuss sexuality in the familiar setting of dinner time.

	 We believe trash is an attitude, a word we put on things when they are unnecessary, unused, discarded and forgotten. But trash ceases to exist if you put it under a spotlight, if you look at it, acknowledge it, celebrate it and reuse it (or in this case - eat it).
In collaboration with Pola Sutyrk, we invited viewers for a live cooking performance, where we turned produce obtained from waste bins into elegant finger foods. We created recipes on the spot and reclaimed "waste" as “treasure". 
Through the event, the audience was invited to observe, discuss with us, share knowledge and ideas and try delicious food straight from the dumpster!

	RUSL is a sustainable design festival focusing on circular thinking and its application within art, design and culture. The festival is held within the new creative neighborhood of Gufunes. A week-long event with workshops, lectures, exhibitions, dinners and social gatherings.

 Inspire the public; by creating an open platform for the audience to meet with local actors of change.
Create a stronger community; by gathering individuals, organizations and companies that already put into practice the reuse of discarded material.

	“This tale carried its beginning in a bag” is a collection of stories and recipes from today's foragers narrated and performed through videos every hour throughout a 12 hour period on the 19th of October 2021. During the final performance, the audience is invited to join “physically” a picnic where foraged food and stories will be shared.

The story of the hunter and his stone-knife, piercing through the flesh of the wild animal - killing - is a foundational tale of our history: that we, as humans, dominate and threaten the rest of nature. The power dynamic in this narrative allows for one-sided practices such as extractive capitalism, intensive agriculture and aggressive relationships to more-than-human beings.
We fail to remember the gatherers. Seeds, roots, nuts, insects and other small animals collected in bags, pockets and other containers constituted the base of primitive hominids' diet*. To be a successful forager, one needs to understand ecological patterns: seasons, flowering and sprouting of each plant, meteorological effects and only to cite a few. Through such practices humans learn to attune to the complex living ecosystems they are part of while surrendering to uncertainty: to the very possibility that there might be nothing to collect.
Sharpening a stone to kill; weaving a basket to collect; those are two stories involving contrasting actions, technologies and above all two divergent relationships to the rest of nature. What happens when we start recounting the tales of the gatherers as origin stories?

	Our western food culture celebrates animal product. Cheese has its own plate, milk and egg are essential in dessert and meat is the centre piece surrounded by sauce and veggies. Animal farming however has huge affects on our environment and is questionably ethical. An alternative to animal farming is cultured meat: a meat produced by in vitro cultivation of animal cells, instead of from slaughtered animals. Eating animal without killing them in other terms. This technology inspired us, and we wondered if we could cultivate human cells thus creating cultured human meat. More than meat, our body also offers milk, blood, bacterias and yeast. Body substances are the centre piece of each of those recipies. We would like to invite our guests to consider the human body as a food source and to debate about the future of eating humans.

	“the end of me, the beginning of you”&#38;nbsp; is a speculation on the future of the relationship between humans and microorganisms within the growing field of microbial industry. 

the end of me, the beginning of you is an installation and participatory performance where the audience is invited to the kitchen/nursery of the artist and are able to adopt one of their microbial daughters. Under this workshop format, participants learn about fermentation and microbial symbiosis, they learn how to care for them and how to work with them to create biotextile or food and are introduced to the concept of interspecies mothering. Here, fermentation is both a metaphor and a material practice for care and nurture for multispecies worldings. An invitation to consider the natural world as a relative and a space for discussion on the future we want to build and ask the question to the public: can we truly be Mothers of non-human beings?

	Deb[eat]e is an event-based platform designed to provoke debate on the future of our food. This event took place in a bankrupted supermarket during Design March, the Icelandic design festival and was part of the counter_point exhibition.

The scarcity of fossil fuels increases each year. We know it will affect our means of transport, but it will affect the way we eat too. Food production relies on transport and machinery. In the case of a new oil crisis our current systems will not be a viable option anymore. To feed people we will have to look into possible new ways of localising food production. Oil deprivation would greatly impact isolated islands, like Iceland, that rely on imports. The whole country would have to undergo drastic changes in order to feed its population.
