Reykjavík / 2018
Project made within the MA design, Listaháskóli Íslands.

Care4u is a caring experiment created by the MADesign class.

“Loneliness and social isolation may represent a greater public health hazard than obesity...” relate the American Psychological Association in 2017.
Being connected to others socially is a fundamental human need. Raised by machines and virtual connections we do not know how to interact physically with each other anymore. Relations in the real become too complicated in a world where you can find anyone by writting his name on google.
Daily interactions between humans morphed into medical therapy. Care4u are caring group session. A team of “carers” deliver conscious and physical attentions for those who suffer from loneliness. Specially designed space and body extensions are though to give the best human care. Here human interactions are though to be efficient. The best of human interactions is combined for a greater experiment of physical affection.
